What does it mean to be a Peer Mentor? 

Peer mentoring is a form of mentorship that usually takes place between a person who has lived through a specific experience and a person who is new to that experience.

At Tree House Project we believe that being able to relate to someone on a personal level fosters trust and accountability. Peer Mentors are usually close in age and share lived experiences.

THP Peer Mentors receive a 3 day training to develop the tools and skills needed to be a reliable and effective peer mentor.

What does it mean to be a Community Advocate? 

A Community Advocate is someone that has a vested interest in the betterment of their neighborhood or community. At THP we organize around issues that are relevant and important to the youth and residents in our community with a focus on a cleaner and greener Baltimore.

Wednesdays at 6PM

Let’s Talk Wednesdays: Conversations where we talk about it all! Starting with simple topics we explore the different perspectives of everyone’s experiences. Here is where young people can learn different ways to navigate their journey. Open forums are open to anyone regardless of age, gender, race, and experience. Sharing your story and resources can be a vital attribute to the growth and development of a young person. We welcome community partners, residents, youth groups, potential members and more to join the conversation!

Tree House Project Advisory Board 

We are seeking individuals to help us paint the bigger picture. As an advisory member you will provide guidance and resources for events, fundraisers, build relationships, develop strategies and assist with the success of the organization.
